Matthew Isakowitz is an accomplished aerospace engineer with extensive experience in the space industry, currently serving at Astranis since 2015, where the focus is on building low-cost telecommunications satellites. Prior to this role, Matthew worked with various engineering projects from 2014 to 2015 and served as an engineer at Planetary Resources, Inc. / Arkyd Astronautics from 2012 to 2013, contributing to asteroid mining efforts. Matthew was the Associate Director at the Commercial Spaceflight Federation from 2009 to 2012, focusing on commercial human spaceflight challenges. Earlier experiences include engineering roles at SpaceX, participation in mission operations for NASA’s New Horizons spacecraft at Johns Hopkins University, and assisting in technical documentation for Space Adventures Ltd. Matthew's educational background includes a B.S.E. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University and a Master of Arts in International Science and Technology Policy from The George Washington University.
