Dylan Studden is a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Astranis Space Technologies since April 2022, with prior experience as a Marine Design Engineer at Ilmor Engineering, Inc. and Technical Director, Team Principal, Powertrain Lead, and Aerodynamics Lead at Wisconsin Racing. Dylan's internship at General Motors involved creating predictive models for thermal management in powertrain systems, while a co-op role at Mercury Marine included designing and validating changes to improve engine performance in cold climates. Additionally, Dylan gained research experience at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Engine Research Center and served as a photographer for UW Rec Sports Marketing. Dylan holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Certificate in German from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
