Christopher Artates is an experienced avionics engineer currently working at Astranis Space Technologies since June 2022. Previously, Christopher held various roles at Bronco Space, including Engineering Coordinator and Lead Electrical Engineer for the BroncoSat-1 Mission, contributing to multiple projects such as the QUIC CubeSat Bus Project and Project Phoenix. Christopher also served as Vice President of IEEE | CPP, where responsibilities included organizing technical workshops. Additional experience includes teaching robotics and Python coding as an Adjunct Instructor at Windtree Education and internship work in software/control systems at Gemini Observatory. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering and a minor in Physics from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, alongside prior education in Computer Science and Engineering at De Anza College.
