Charlie Marsh is the founder and CEO of Astral, which aims to improve productivity in the Python ecosystem through high-performance tools. Charlie worked as a staff software engineer at Spring Discovery from 2018 to 2022 and Engineering Lead at Cedar Inc. from 2017 to 2018. Charlie also worked at Khan Academy as a senior engineer and software engineer, and as a software engineer intern at Facebook and Microsoft. In 2011-2013, they served as the Head of Community and Content at Toptal.

Charlie Marsh attended The American School in London from 2001 to 2011. From 2011 to 2015, they studied Computer Science and obtained a BSE degree from Princeton University.
