Ellen Pliska has a diverse range of work experience spanning from 2000 to 2017. Ellen'smost recent role was as the Family and Child Health Senior Director at the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials starting in June 2017. Prior to this role, they held the position of Family and Child Health Director at the same organization from March 2011 to June 2017. Ellen then pursued a Master of Health Science (MHS) degree in the Population, Family and Reproductive Health Department at The Johns Hopkins University from 2005 to 2007. In 2011, they obtained a certificate in Advanced Social Media from the University of San Francisco. Additionally, they hold a certification in Public Health (CPH) from the NBPHE, obtained in 2010. Ellen Pliska also briefly studied International Culture and Women's Studies at Utrecht University in 2002. Before entering university, they attended Evanston Township High School (ETHS) from 1995 to 1999.
