Seemay Chou serves as the Chairperson of the Board for The Navigation Fund and a Board Member for Holoclara Inc. Additionally, Seemay Chou is the President and CEO of Arcadia Science and holds the position of Chief of Strategy at Astera Institute. Seemay Chou co-founded and served as CEO of Trove Biolabs and was an Assistant Professor of Biochemistry and Biophysics at the University of California, San Francisco. Seemay Chou earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Molecular Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley and holds both a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Plan II Honors from The University of Texas at Austin.
