Catherine Levitt serves as General Counsel at Astellas Pharma since April 2020, following an extensive tenure at Astellas Pharma US from July 2004 to March 2020, where roles included Senior Vice President and Legal Head of Commercial, Regulatory, M&D, and Transactional, as well as Vice President of Legal. Prior to Astellas, Catherine held the position of Corporate Counsel at Baxter International Inc. from 1998 to 2004 and Corporate Counsel at Peoples Gas from January 1994 to June 1998. Catherine began a legal career as an Associate at McDermott Will & Emery LLP from 1991 to 1994. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois College of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
