David Rutherford currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Assurety, a position held since November 2022. Prior to this, David held various leadership roles, including Chief Client Officer at ZRG Partners, LLC, where leadership of the Global Accounts Programme was a key responsibility. David's extensive experience at EY included roles such as Markets Lead for Private Mid-Market and Director of Business Development, with a focus on growth and account management across multiple sectors. Earlier in the career, David contributed to LexisNexis as an Account Director and to American Express as a B2B Sales Manager, where significant sales achievements were recognized. David’s educational background includes a BA in Geography from The University of Manchester.
