Laurie Barnes has a long-standing career in the insurance industry. Laurie began working at AssuredPartners in 1985 and held the position of Director of Agency Operations. Since then, Laurie has also worked at Texas Associates Insurors as an Operations Manager, starting in the same year and continuing until 2023. Prior to that, they served as an Operations Manager at John A. Barclay Agency from 1985 to 2001.

Laurie Barnes earned a BBA in Business Management from Texas State University, where they studied from 1977 to 1981.
