Toby Herring is an experienced software engineering professional with a diverse background in various leadership and development roles. Currently serving as Lead Software Engineer at Assurant since April 2018, Toby previously held positions as IT Development Manager and Lead Developer at Square 1 Art, LLC from January 2013 to January 2018. Prior experience includes Sr. Developer roles at ClickSquared, Inc. and Aflac, as well as Sr. Developer, Tech Lead, and Architect at Teletrack, Inc. Toby's career began as a Sr. Consultant at Software Architects and as IT Systems Coordinator at Syncroflo. Toby also served in the US Army as a Human Intelligence Collector from June 1989 to March 1997. Educational qualifications include studies at Gwinnett Technical College from 2000 to 2002 and Georgia Institute of Technology in 1988-1989.
