Mike Woods is currently working as a Maintenance Manager at Assurance Health System since March 2022. Before that, they worked as a Facilities Manager at The Salvation Army from July 2015 to March 2022. Mike also served as a Technician at Heatron from March 2015 to July 2015. Prior to that, Mike worked as a Department Manager at Kocher & Beck from November 2000 to February 2015. Their earliest work experience was as a Maintenance Electrician at RockTenn, where they worked from September 1980 to November 2000.

Mike Woods attended Kansas State University from 1979 to 1982, where they studied engineering. Mike then went on to attend Kansas City Kansas Community College from 1993 to 1994, where they obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
