Mingyang Yuan is a research intern at Gu Laboratory at Vanderbilt University since August 2020, where contributions include co-authoring a published paper on insulin granule regulation in pancreatic β cells and utilizing ImageJ for vesicle quantification. Additionally, Mingyang Yuan served as a Postbac IRTA at the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) from July 2022 to July 2024. Mingyang Yuan holds a Bachelor of Arts with honors in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Medicine, Health and Society from Vanderbilt University, achieved in 2022, and a high school diploma from the Academy of Science and Engineering, College Park High School in The Woodlands, Texas, graduated in 2018.
