Evi Schroyen is an experienced professional in patient care and criminology, currently serving as the Adjunct-directeur patientenzorg, Coördinator Corona-unit, HR-manager, and Advisor patient care at Asster vzw since February 2015. Prior to this, Evi worked as a research assistant and teaching assistant at the University of Leuven from August 2008 to August 2014, focusing on PhD research related to operational information management and Intelligence Led Policing in Belgium. Evi's earlier roles include political advisor for the Provincie Limburg and policy advisor for the Belgian Senate, with responsibilities in public healthcare, welfare, and legislative initiatives. Evi holds a Bachelor in Nurse Specialisation Psychiatry, a Master in Criminology, and a Post Academic Course in Multidisciplinary Forensic Research from KU Leuven.
