Isabel Mercedes Cumming currently serves as the First Vice President of the Association of Inspectors General, where responsibilities include chairing the Finance and Integrity & Ethics committees. Cumming has been the Inspector General for the Baltimore City Office of the Inspector General since January 2018, overseeing both the Inspector General's office and the Ethics department. With a long history of involvement in fraud examination, Cumming has held the title of Regent Emeritus at the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners since 1997 and previously served as Assistant Inspector General of Investigations at the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority. A former President of the Calvert County Bar Association, Cumming has also held significant roles in the Prince George's County State's Attorney's Office and the Baltimore City State's Attorney's Office, focusing on economic crimes. Cumming holds a Juris Doctorate (Cum Laude) and an MBA in Accounting from the University of Baltimore, as well as a BBA in Accounting from James Madison University.
