Amanda Thurlow is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in event management and member engagement within the financial and housing sectors. Currently serving as Sectors and Communities Manager at ACCA since July 2015, Amanda focuses on nurturing communities and delivering value through a digital-first approach while leading sector communities and a talk series program. Prior to this role, Amanda worked as Member Engagement Manager, organizing networking events and enhancing member support. With a strong foundation in event production from the Chartered Institute of Housing, Amanda has successfully organized numerous conferences and seminars, managed budgets, and maximized commercial opportunities through strategic sponsorship engagement. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature & Drama from the University of Birmingham.
