Fátima Correia da Silva has a diverse work experience spanning various positions and companies. Fátima Correia is currently the President of the ACFE Local Chapter for Portugal, where they lead efforts in fraud detection and deterrence. Previously, they served as the Chief Compliance Officer, General Counsel, and DPO at Critical TechWorks. In this role, they were responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations and data protection laws.

Before their time at Critical TechWorks, Fátima worked as an Advogada at Ordem dos Advogados, where they provided legal services in various areas of Portuguese law. Fátima Correia then joined EY, where they held positions such as Senior Manager, Manager, and Experienced Senior Consultant in the Forensic & Integrity Services department. During their time at EY, they played a key role in projects related to regulatory compliance, financial analysis, fraud investigations, risk management, and corporate intelligence.

Fátima also gained experience as a Consultant at Ernst & Young, where they worked on various projects. Additionally, they worked as a Lawyer at Almeida Correia, Ney da Costa e Associados, where they provided legal services in areas such as family law, criminal law, tax law, and banking law.

Fátima Correia da Silva holds a Licenciatura degree in Direito from Universidade de Coimbra, earned from 2002 to 2007. Fátima Correia also completed a Pós-graduação Lato Sensu - Especialização in Direito - Ciências Jurídico-Económicas from the same university from 2007 to 2009. In 2010, they obtained the certification of Advogada from Ordem dos Advogados. Fátima further pursued a Curso de Especialização in Contabilidade e Análise Financeira para Juristas from Universidade do Porto in 2010-2011. Fátima Correia later completed a Pós-Graduação program in Liderança e Desenvolvimento from Universidade Católica Portuguesa in 2017. In 2020, they acquired the title of Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). Fátima also holds other certifications, including the Certified Data Protection Practitioner Exam from the Irish Computer Society in 2021 and the ESG for Directors Certificate from The Corporate Governance Institute in 2022. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in blockchain, wealth and asset management, and digital age teaming. Fátima Correia is currently pursuing a degree in Environmental, Social, and Governance from Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Lisboa.
