Helen Mitchell is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Communications Manager at the Association of British Insurers since January 2022. Previously, Helen held roles at the Equality and Human Rights Commission, progressing from Press and Social Media Officer to Press and Social Media Manager between August 2017 and January 2022. Earlier experience includes positions at the BBC as Assistant Publicist and Communications Trainee from May 2014 to July 2017, as well as an internship as Communications Officer at the NHS Litigation Authority. Further work experience was gained at Grayling, Croydon Health Services NHS Trust, and Radio One. Helen holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in History with Media Arts from the University of Plymouth, as well as A Levels in History, English Literature, and Film Studies from Alton College 6th Form.
