Valeria Ten, CPA, currently serves as Assistant Controller at the Association of American Railroads since March 2020. Prior to this role, Valeria held the position of Senior Financial Manager at The Brookings Institution, where responsibilities included preparing budgets for the Global Economy and Development Program from May 2015 to February 2020. Valeria's experience also includes serving as Regional Director of Finance for DVV International from August 2011 to December 2014, overseeing financial operations across Central Asia, and as Local Country Representative for Dayen Environmental from December 2006 to July 2011, where an office was established in Uzbekistan. Valeria's educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Urgench State University and professional qualifications from ACCA and other accounting organizations.
