Shawn Thompson has extensive experience in coordination and leadership roles within various organizations, currently serving as a Coordinator at Association Management Strategies, Inc., the Association of Dental Support Organizations, and the American Board of Wound Management since November 2022. Prior to this, Shawn held a position as a Temp Property Administrator at Whitman Associates, Inc., and developed leadership skills through community action projects as a Fellow in the Rawlings Undergraduate Leadership Fellows Program. Notably, Shawn organized a COVID-19 relief food drive that provided 1,805 meals to those in need. Additional leadership roles include serving as Treasurer and President of Cooperative Housing at the University of Maryland, along with internships in the legislative sector and civic engagement, focusing on food insecurity campaigns. Shawn holds a Bachelor's degree in American Government and Politics from the University of Maryland and an Associate's degree in General Studies from Frederick Community College.
