Omar Yeste is a seasoned Research Engineer with extensive experience in both academia and industry, currently serving at the National Radio Astronomy Observatory and Associated Universities since April 2016. Prior experience includes roles as an Institutional Researcher and researcher at Laboratoire de recherche LASSENA, focusing on projects related to software radios and satellite communication interference mitigation in collaboration with prominent organizations such as Bombardier and MDA. Previously, Omar contributed to over 15 R&D projects while serving as an Assistant Professor at Polytechnic University of Madrid, specializing in areas such as passive radiolocalization and electronic warfare. Omar holds a Ph.D. in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, complementing a Master's degree in the same field from the same institution.
