Ben Jeffrey is an experienced marine pilot at Associated British Ports, with a focus on Class 2 and Class 3 operations since April 2019. Prior to this role, Ben served in the Royal Navy from May 2015 to April 2019 as a Navigation Officer, where responsibilities included navigation, pilotage, submarine scheduling, and operating as the Captain’s representative during complex maintenance periods. Additional experience includes positions as Operations Officer, where Ben managed strategic submarine programs, and as an aide-de-camp, providing administrative support to senior naval representatives. Ben is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Maritime Studies at the University of Portsmouth, expected to complete in October 2024.
