Andrew Askins is the Founder and President of Minds in Motion, an educational outreach initiative started in September 2023, aimed at enhancing learning experiences for low-income students through creative tutoring methods. In addition, Andrew serves as the Director of Education for Tickets2TheFuture, a non-profit focusing on financial literacy through social media platforms and entrepreneurship programs, achieving significant outreach and funding since its inception. Andrew also functions as an Attorney at the Assistance League National Office, representing clients in a teen court program. Further involvement includes roles as a Junior Representative for DECA Inc. and a Tutor for Learn To Be, providing academic support to low-income children. As a Delegate in the Harvard Model Congress, Andrew has successfully proposed legislation on pressing social issues, and as a member of the Academic Committee at Charlotte Christian School, contributes to curriculum development. Additionally, Andrew is a peer tutor at Charlotte Christian School.
