Dylan Mounts has work experience in the field of IT, with a focus on network operations and support. In this role, they troubleshooted high-severity issues over the phone, focusing on server, communications, and store downtime problems. Dylan also provided assistance and advice to other technicians as a floor supervisor.
In 2019, Dylan transitioned to the Network Operations Center (NOC) at O'Reilly Auto Parts. As a Network Operations Center Analyst, they were responsible for establishing and chartering the NOC's mission and direction. Dylan provided training and orientation for new analysts and created standard operating procedures for notifications, reporting, scheduling, and incident response.
In 2020, Dylan became the NOC's technical lead at O'Reilly Auto Parts. Dylan designed and improved NOC operations and performance, including implementing a monitoring solution for over 26,000 store assets. Dylan also developed a proprietary Python plugin that proactively called stores when problems were detected, mobilizing an analyst to engage the store immediately.
Most recently, in 2022, Dylan joined AssetWorks LLC as a Software Engineer.
Dylan Mounts attended Missouri State University from 2010 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature.
