Courtney Richards has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. They began their career as a Marketing Research Group Intern at Navigate Research in 2013. They then worked as a Marketing Partnerships professional at Phoenix Suns from 2012 to 2014. In 2013, they also interned as a Game Operations Coordinator at Arizona Diamondbacks, where they gained experience in executing game-day promotions and enhancing fan experience.
In subsequent years, Courtney worked as a Game Operations Coordinator-Intern at Arizona Coyotes and then as an Event Coordinator at SMG | Worldwide Entertainment & Convention Venue Management. They also served as a Merchandise Assistant at Delaware North and as a Business Development, Premier and Groups Sales Assistant at Chicago Cubs.
Courtney joined Fanatics, Inc. as an NHL/NBA League Coordinator in 2017, before transitioning to IMPACT365 as an Account Executive/Event Planner. From there, they moved to AssetMark in 2019, initially working as a Sales Coordinator and later taking on the roles of Sales Coordinator/Associate Team Lead and Sales Coordinator/Associate Manager. Currently, Courtney holds the position of Director, First Year Success Program at AssetMark.
Courtney Richards attended Arizona State University from 2011 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Communication. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications from FINRA, including the Series 63 - Uniform Securities Agent State Law Exam in December 2021, the Series 6 - Investment Company and Variable Contracts Products Representative in November 2021, the Securities Industry Essentials in September 2021, and the Series 65 - Uniform Investment Advisor Law Examination in June 2021.
