Paul Ross serves as the Head of Software at Assetcool since September 2024, overseeing software engineering, system architecture, and programming efforts. Paul previously held the same title at hyperTunnel from June 2022 to February 2024, and has extensive experience including roles as Principal Software Engineer at ONI and Senior Software Engineer (Technical Lead) at hyperTunnel, along with software architecture for GPR processing. Additional roles include Senior Staff Algorithms and Software Development Engineer at Sense Photonics and Research Engineer positions at Optos and Toshiba Medical Visualization Systems. Paul’s educational background includes an EngD in Optics and Photonics from Heriot-Watt University, an MSc in High Performance Computing from The University of Edinburgh, a PGDip in Numerical Analysis, and a BSc hons in Applied Mathematics from the University of Dundee.
