Harshal Talele began their work experience in 2007 at Persistent Systems as a Software Engineer. Harshal worked there until 2011. In 2011, they joined SailPoint as a Software Engineer, and stayed there until 2013. Harshal then moved to Avaya as a Module Lead, where they worked from 2013 until 2017. In 2017, they joined ASSERTION as a Development Lead, and later became a Software Architect in 2020. The end dates for their roles at Avaya and ASSERTION are not provided.

Harshal Talele completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Fergusson College. Harshal later pursued a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree at the same institution and completed it in 2007.
