Frontend Engineer at Assembled

Elayabharath Elango has a strong background in engineering and UX design. Elayabharath is currently working as a Frontend Engineer at Assembled since October 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Full Stack Engineer and UX designer at multiple start-ups from June 2018 to September 2020. In this role, they designed, built, and launched various products, supported non-technical founders with iterations and product framework, and worked on domains such as healthcare, HR systems, workforce management, open-source communication tools, instant data analytics, and blockchain.

Before their start-up experience, Elayabharath worked at Semantics3 from May 2015 to April 2018 as a Front-end Engineer and UX designer. Here, their responsibilities included designing and building user dashboards, revamping user journeys, implementing a unified visual language framework, and creating an interactive API playground.

Prior to Semantics3, Elayabharath worked at Autodesk as a UX Designer from June 2012 to June 2015. Elayabharath designed the Visual Programming Environment, conducted user studies, modernized the library, and set design guidelines for 3rd party package authors.

Additionally, Elayabharath has interned at Temasek Laboratories and Autodesk. At Temasek Laboratories in 2011, they worked as an intern in the Aeronautical Sciences Division. Elayabharath actively conducted and improved experiments for a research paper, created sample flow visualizations from experimental data, and gained hands-on experience in wind tunnel experiments and Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV). At Autodesk in 2010, they interned in AutoCAD Plant 3D, Content Authoring. Here, they researched and authored content for various international piping standards, prepared a learning guide, and received the "whale done" award.

Elayabharath Elango completed their education in a chronological order. They started with O-Levels in Mathematics and Science from Sri Akilandeswari Vidhyalaya. Then, they attended SBOA School and Junior College for high school, specializing in Science. Afterward, Elayabharath pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering from the National University of Singapore, graduating in 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Elayabharath also obtained certifications in Graphic Design. They completed the "Fundamentals of Graphic Design" course from Coursera Course Certificates in January 2016.
