Marcin W. Mastalerz has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Marcin W. started their career in 2002 as a Co-founder, IT project manager, and systems designer at BEGIN, where they gained experience in web software development and IT system implementation. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as an Academic Teacher at West Pomeranian Business School. In 2007, they joined the Polish Information Processing Society as a Project Manager and Team Leader until 2013.
In 2010, they became an Academic Teacher at the Public Higher School of Entrepreneurship and Management until 2012. In 2011, they worked as a Foreign Expert & International Project Coordinator at Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, where they developed scientific and educational cooperation between GDUFS and the University of Szczecin.
In 2012, they founded madePL, where they worked as a Project Manager and Chief Designer of IT solutions. Marcin W. then joined Asseco Data Systems in 2015, initially as a Senior System Analyst and later as a Principal System Analyst of the Trust Services Research and Development Department. Since 2015, Marcin has also held various positions at Project Management Institute Poland Chapter Szczecin Branch, including Professional Development & Education Director and Finance Director.
Lastly, since 2002, Marcin has been serving as an Assistant Professor at the University of Szczecin. Overall, they have demonstrated a diverse range of skills and expertise in IT project management, system analysis, and academic teaching throughout their career.
Marcin W. Mastalerz obtained a Doctor's Degree in Economic Studies with distinction from the University of Szczecin, Faculty of Economics and Management, specializing in IT in Economics from 2002 to 2010. Prior to that, they earned an Engineer's degree in Computer Science from the Technical University of Szczecin, Computer Science Faculty, specializing in Computer Systems from 1999 to 2002. Marcin W. also holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Szczecin, Faculty of Economics and Management, specializing in IT in Management from 1997 to 2002. In addition to their formal education, Marcin also has various certifications in fields such as artificial intelligence, computer programming, project management, and information security management.
