Lorne Bell has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Lorne has worked as the Director of Outreach & Communications at Assabet Co-op Market since January 2017. Prior to that, they were a Writer for USGBC+ (Magazine of the US Green Building Council) starting in November 2016. Lorne also worked as a Features Writer for Northshore Magazine from June 2016. Lorne has experience as the Owner/Editor of Boston Editorial Consulting, LLC since September 2014. Lorne has also worked as a Correspondent for Boston Globe Media starting in November 2014, where they were responsible for writing feature news stories and conducting interviews. Lorne served as a Regional Lead Advanced Placement English Teacher for the Massachusetts Math and Science Initiative from June 2013 to August 2014. Lorne was also a Lead English Teacher/World Religions Teacher at Winthrop High School from September 2009 to August 2014. Lorne has journalistic experience as an Editor for The Jewish Advocate from September 2006 to August 2011, where they managed reporters, wrote and edited articles, and collaborated with the graphics team. Lorne began their career as a Senior Librarian Assistant at Newton Free Library from September 2003 to September 2006.

Lorne Bell completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Comparative Religion at Wheaton College Massachusetts from 1999 to 2003. From 2006 to 2008, Lorne Bell pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Journalism from Northeastern University.
