Sharif A. is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in international development, peacebuilding, and humanitarian policy. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor at ASR Tech Group Inc. and as a Principal at K2Globe since January 2023, Sharif has also contributed to Afghan Affairs + Track II as a Social Work and Peacebuilding professional until October 2023. Previously, Sharif held significant roles at the Fetzer Institute, including Senior Program Officer and Program Officer from November 2011 to October 2022. Additional experience includes positions as a Local Funds Coordinator and Aid Effectiveness Advisor with CIDA, Consultant at AECOM, and Humanitarian Policy Fellow at Oxfam America. Sharif began professional endeavors in 2003 at the World Food Programme and has a strong educational background with a Master of Arts in International Development Policy from Duke University and a Graduate Certificate in International Peace and Conflict Resolution from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
