Rahul Rajpal

Vice President Customer Experience & Global Operations at Aspire

Rahul Rajpal has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Rahul began their career in the aviation industry, working as an Operations Supervisor for various airlines. Rahul then transitioned to the outsourcing and financial services sector, working as an Analyst for eFunds International India Pvt Ltd and later as an Assistant Manager of Operations at EXL Services Ltd.

In 2003, Rahul joined American Express, where they held various leadership roles. Rahul served as a Senior Manager of Operations, overseeing the New Accounts process and managing team expansion. Rahul later became a Customer Experience Service Delivery Leader, playing a key role in transforming customer experience and improving NPS scores. Rahul also led the Global Regulatory Assurance Operations team, building a Center of Excellence and enhancing regulatory compliance.

In 2015, Rahul joined Google as the Head of CX Partner Operations for the India site. Rahul was responsible for setting up and scaling the India Partner operations team, supporting English markets globally. Rahul also held the position of Global Director of Customer Experience, Head of Global Partner Operations, leading the global customer experience team and driving process transformation and cost reduction initiatives.

Most recently, Rahul has been appointed as the Vice President of Customer Experience & Global Operations at Aspire, a role that they will assume in 2023.

Rahul Rajpal completed a Programme in Strategic Management at the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode in 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on CRM from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies between 2007 and 2009. Rahul holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Commerce from Delhi University, which they obtained from 1992 to 1995. Rahul also has additional certifications, including an Executive Program in Management from Cornell University and a Six Sigma Black Belt from American Express.
