Alyssa Casey is a Visual Art Teacher at Leadership Public Schools in Richmond since August 2018, with a diverse background in education and arts management. Since January 2011, Alyssa has also served as a Private Tutor and Workshop Instructor for Aspire Education Project, providing tutoring in subjects such as Chemistry, Biology, Math, History, and SAT/ACT test preparation to high school students in the Bay Area, while leading workshops for underprivileged students. Previously, from November 2005 to March 2010, Alyssa managed Elena del Rivero Studio, where responsibilities included organizing the studio, collaborating on art execution, gilding, managing archives, and coordinating exhibitions. Alyssa earned a Bachelor’s Degree with a double major in Fine Art and Integrative Biology, along with a minor in Geography from the University of California, Berkeley, from 1998 to 2002.
