Patrick Smith, MS, LPC, is an experienced mental health professional currently serving as a Mental Health Therapist with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs since August 2022. In addition, Patrick has been a Crisis Center Therapist at Aspire Behavioral Health & Developmental Disability Services since October 2020, where responsibilities include conducting emergency assessments and providing crisis intervention services. Prior experience includes roles as a Mental Health Therapist with Albany Area Primary Health Care and a Licensed Professional Counselor at Albany State University, where counseling services were provided to a diverse student population. Patrick’s earlier experience as a Child and Adolescent Therapist at Aspire Behavioral Health involved creating individualized treatment plans for clients aged 5 to 18. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from Thomas University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Albany State University.
