Pete Grass

Leadership Transition Coach at Asphalt Institute

Pete Grass, P.E., CAE, serves as President of both the Asphalt Institute, Inc. and the Asphalt Institute Foundation, which focuses on advancing the liquid asphalt industry through strategic research and educational activities. With extensive experience in leadership roles, Pete Grass has been a Board Member of the American Highway User's Alliance, the Foundation for Pavement Preservation/FP2, and TRIP. Prior to these current positions, significant roles included District Engineer for the San Francisco District of the US Army Corps of Engineers, overseeing 310 employees and a $68 million budget, and Program Manager with the Corps. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of New Hampshire.
