Shakia Ortiz has a diverse background in community programs and recreation, with extensive experience at Asphalt Green where Shakia has held various management and coordination roles since June 2007. Shakia also worked as a Program Assistant at New York Sports Club. Shakia is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Parks, Recreation and Leisure Studies at City University of New York-Herbert H. Lehman College, following their Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Education/Teaching from CUNY Hostos Community College.
