Jonathan Chiang is an experienced engineering leader with a robust background in data engineering and management. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Aspex Management since June 2019, Jonathan has previously held the position of Senior Data Engineer at Millennium Management, where responsibilities included alternative data analysis and data science support. During a notable tenure at Goldman Sachs from July 2009 to April 2017, Jonathan advanced from Analyst to Vice President in Engineering roles. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and an Executive Certificate in Management and Leadership from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Key technical skills include data sourcing, modeling, ETL, market data analysis, and proficiency in AWS and Tableau, all within an Agile/Scrum environment.
