Daniel Benavent is an experienced arts administrator with a diverse background in performing arts management. Currently serving as Executive Assistant at the Aspen Music Festival and School since June 2021, Daniel previously held the position of General Manager at Theatre Aspen from May 2018 to January 2020. A significant portion of Daniel's career was spent at the Manhattan School of Music, where roles included Managing Director of Theatrical Productions, Opera Producer and Administrator of Vocal Ensembles, and Opera Studio Manager from 2011 to 2018. Additionally, Daniel worked as Program Administrator at the Aspen Opera Center from January 2015 to December 2017. Daniel's educational credentials include a Master of Music from Boston Conservatory at Berklee, a Professional Certificate in Arts Administration from New York University, and participation in leadership programs including Opera America's Leadership Intensive and the New York Foundation for the Arts Emerging Leaders Boot Camp.
