Yelena La Forgia, CPA, currently serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Aspen Insurance Group and Aspen U.S., a position held since May 2023. Additionally, Yelena holds the role of President and Board Member at the Society of Insurance Financial Management since September 2024. Yelena's extensive experience in the finance sector includes previous positions such as Chief Financial Officer at Berkley Small Business Solutions from September 2021 to May 2023 and at Berkley Product Protection from July 2015 to May 2023. Prior roles include Vice President & Assistant Controller at Liberty International Underwriters from December 2008 to July 2015, progressing through various finance-related titles at AIG and Colgate-Palmolive. Yelena earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from CUNY Baruch College in June 2004.
