Barry Gerstein currently serves as the Head of US Insurance Claims at Aspen Insurance Group, a position held since July 2016, where responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of insurance claims. Prior to this role, Barry Gerstein was with Allied World from January 2010 to July 2016 as SVP of Environmental Claims and AVP of Claims, where the environmental claims department was established. Additional experience includes consulting for Quanta US Holdings, overseeing claims as Vice President, and managing environmental and mass tort claims at Risk Enterprise Management. Earlier career highlights include managing a 25-person unit at AIG focused on environmental declaratory judgment actions, and working as an associate at Carpenter Bennett & Morrissey. Barry Gerstein holds a B.A. in Political Science from Rutgers University and a law degree from Rutgers Law School.
