Matthew Zeglinski is currently the Lead Quality Control Analyst at Aspect Biosystems. Prior to this, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow at The University of British Columbia from August 2016 to October 2021. Before that, they were a PHD Candidate at the University of Manitoba from September 2012 to July 2016, exploring the molecular mechanisms that underlie cardiac fibroblast to myofibroblast phenoconversion and the production of fibrillar collagens following cardiac injury. Matthew was also a MSc Student at the University of Manitoba from January 2011 to June 2012, characterizing and preventing Doxorubicin and Trastuzumab induced heart failure. Additionally, they were a Junior Research Assistant at the Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences from October 2010 to January 2011. Prior to their academic and research career, they worked as a cook at The Keg Steakhouse and Bar from April 2004 to September 2010.
