Edwin Choo Jia Chiet is a Mechanical Design Engineer currently employed at ASMPT Ltd since March 2023. Prior to this role, Edwin served as an Engineer at IGnesis Consultants Pte Ltd from August 2022 to March 2023 and worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Nottingham Malaysia between September 2018 and September 2022, where responsibilities included conducting lab demonstrations and assisting in tutorial classes. Edwin holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Combustion Modelling and Alternative Fuels from the University of Nottingham, attained in 2022, and a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nottingham Malaysia, completed in 2018. Additionally, Edwin earned a Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from KDU Penang University College in 2014.
