Mark Christie has extensive work experience in the IT industry. Mark began their career as an Evening Shift Partner at Waitrose in 1996 and worked there until 2001. Mark then joined Compusys as an Installation & Field Service Engineer, where they installed computers and network printers and eventually progressed to diagnosing and fixing hardware issues on a variety of devices. In 2005, Mark moved to 1Life (Management Solutions) as a Senior IT Engineer. In this role, they provided general IT support, managed Active Directory and Exchange 2007, and conducted advanced network diagnostics. Mark was also involved in implementing a standardized membership system and migrating from Citrix to RDP. Mark's most recent position was as a Senior IT Engineer at Official ASM Global starting in 2016. Here, they provided support, acted as project lead, and was responsible for the company's infrastructure. Notable projects included implementing MPLS to all venues, migrating servers to a new virtual environment, and establishing a secondary backup link. Mark received a PRIDE award for exceptional performance and behavior during their time at 1Life.

Mark Christie has a strong educational background in computing and business systems. Mark obtained their HND in Computing from the University of Hertfordshire from 1998 to 2000, specializing in business systems with operating systems and networks. Prior to that, they completed their GNVQ Advanced in Computing from West Herts College (Dacorum Campus) from 1996 to 1998. Additionally, they received a GCSE in Maths from the same college in 1997-1998.

Mark has also pursued various certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge.
