Holly Morwitch has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Learning Hub Attendant at QUT (Queensland University of Technology) from April 2023. In this position, they are responsible for managing and maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment. Holly also provides support to service providers and assists visiting students.
Prior to their current role, Holly worked as a Customer Service Representative at ASM Global from November 2021. Here, they checked guests' tickets and provided general assistance and customer service in a friendly and helpful manner.
Holly also served as the Vice President of the QUT Chemistry Club from July 2022, where they played a leadership role in the club.
In 2023, Holly worked as a Food and Beverage Attendant at Johnny Ringo's from February to June. Their responsibilities included greeting customers, taking and registering drink orders, and ensuring a safe and clean workspace.
From November 2020 to January 2023, Holly worked as a Laboratory Assistant at City Fertility. Holly also gained experience in club management as a Secretary for the QUT Dog Lovers Society from May 2021 to March 2022 and as a Secretary for EcoQUT from September 2019 to September 2020. In these roles, they were responsible for organizing meetings, maintaining databases, and assisting in various administrative tasks.
Holly also had the opportunity to work as an MC and Venue Manager for Pint of Science, where they organized venues and speakers for a science communication festival. Holly fulfilled the role of Administrative Officer at Dee Tonks Sole Trader from September 2019 to February 2020, and as a Project Officer for the QUT Guild from September 2019 to December 2019, where they focused on environmental engagement and sustainability projects.
Overall, Holly Morwitch has gained relevant experience in customer service, event management, administration, and leadership through their various roles in different organizations.
Holly Morwitch pursued their education at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) from 2018 to 2022. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with a major in Chemistry and minors in Analytical Chemistry and Environmental Science. Following their undergraduate studies, they enrolled at QUT again from 2023 to 2025 for a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree, specializing in Materials Science. In addition to their academic degrees, Holly also obtained a Certificate I in Internet, Digital Media, and Technology from the Australian Qualifications Framework in June 2016.
