Brian Vanbuhler

Information Technology Manager at ASM Global

Brian VanBuhler has extensive work experience spanning over three decades. Brian began their career in 1988 as an Auto Dealer at Alan Johnson, where they worked with Honda, Dodge, Porsche, and Audi vehicles. Brian then moved on to Miramar Reprographics in 1989, where they served as the Office Manager and Computer Graphics Designer.

In 1992, Brian joined National Reproductions Corporation as the Lead Computer Graphic Designer. Brian continued to develop their skills in computer graphics until 1993 when they joined National TechTeam as a Support Analyst. Brian quickly advanced to the role of Senior Support Technician and Database Programmer in 1994.

In 1996, Brian transitioned to DaimlerChrysler as a Third Level Helpdesk Support Analyst. Brian worked in this role until 1999, when they joined Visteon Corporation as a Programmer Analyst. Over the course of their tenure at Visteon Corporation, Brian held various roles including Purchasing IT Manager, IT Manager, and Project Manager.

Brian's career continued to grow, and in 2017, they joined Adient as a Project Manager for Microsoft Enterprise Mobility + Security. Later that year, they moved to Laramar Properties, where they served as the General Manager Assistant, Consultant, and Laborer. In this role, they supported the CEO in managing the day-to-day operations of multiple properties.

In 2018, Brian became the Plant IT Manager at SAS Automotive Systems, where they were responsible for IT operations within the manufacturing plant. Most recently, they joined Official ASM Global in 2019 as the Information Technology Manager.

Throughout their career, Brian has gained significant experience in project management, IT management, and consulting services.

Brian VanBuhler earned a Diploma in Residential and Commercial Architectural Drafting from Platt College-San Diego in 1988 to 1989. Prior to that, in 1985, they received a Diploma in Navigation from the Naval Training Center Orlando. Brian completed their high school education at Garden City High School from 1981 to 1983, focusing on general academics. In 1980 to 1981, Brian attended the Michigan School of Horseshoeing, where they obtained a Certification in Corrective Farrier, specializing in corrective horseshoeing.
