Yi Luo, PhD, PLA, serves as an Assistant Professor at the University of Florida since August 2018 and has held an Affiliate Assistant Professor position at the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences since January 2024. Active in professional organizations, Yi Luo is a member of the LA CES Monitoring Committee through ASLA since June 2021 and has been the Secretary/Treasurer of Sigma Lambda Alpha Honor Society-Landscape Architecture since March 2016. Previous experience includes serving as Track Chair for the Council of Educators in Landscape Architecture from September 2016 to August 2022 and as an Assistant Professor at Texas Tech University from August 2014 to August 2018, as well as instructional roles at Texas A&M University and internships at IBI Group. Yi Luo's education includes a PhD in Urban and Regional Science from Texas A&M University, a Master of Landscape Architecture from both Utah State University and the University of Guelph, and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
