Jose Matamis has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Jose began their career at Ernst & Young, where they worked in the accounting department from 1996 to 1997. Jose then held various systems integrator roles at Nabisco, Price Waterhouse, and Merrill Lynch from 1997 to 1999. In 1997, they joined IKON Office Solutions as a Systems Integrator, providing consulting services for a wide range of clients. Jose continued with IKON until 2005. From 2005 to 2014, Jose worked as a Vice President at Royal Bank of Scotland Business, focusing on application development and software deployment. Jose then took on consulting engagements with Bridgewater Associates, Webster Bank, and Point72, specializing in technology services. In 2022, Jose joined ASL Capital Markets Inc as a Vice President.

Jose Matamis earned a BS degree in Accounting from SUNY New Paltz from 1993 to 1995. Jose also obtained a BS degree in Accounting from Middlesex University in London from 1994 to 1995. Furthermore, Jose has acquired several certifications including Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)², CompTIA Security+, Cylance Security Professional from Cylance Inc., ITIL Foundation from AXELOS Global Best Practice, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate from Amazon Web Services.
