Garrett Diggins has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Garrett started their career in 2004 at Stonebridge Press as a Financial Analyst, where they managed daily accounting operations and inventory tracking. In 2004, they joined State Street Global Advisors as an Accounting Manager and later served as an Assistant Vice President, overseeing operational support for domestic cash investments and trading activities. Garrett implemented projects that delivered cost-saving and risk mitigation benefits. From 2015 to 2022, Garrett was a Vice President at State Street Global Advisors, responsible for improving internal cash management processes and overseeing fixed income and money market trading and accounting operations, managing assets worth over $360 billion. In 2023, they joined ASL Capital Markets Inc as a Senior Vice President.

Garrett Diggins completed the Applied Data Science Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Finance from Suffolk University between 2008 and 2011. Their undergraduate degree is a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Westfield State University, which they received between 1999 and 2003. In addition, they have obtained certifications such as Series 27 and Series 99 from FINRA in 2023, along with the Applied Data Science Program certification from MIT Professional Education in 2022.
