Craig Caffrey currently serves as Technical Director at ASL Airlines Ireland since March 2024. Previously, Caffrey held multiple roles at Aer Lingus, including Director of Engineering and Line Maintenance Manager, from December 2017 to March 2024. Caffrey's experience also includes serving as an Aeronautical Inspector at the Irish Aviation Authority from September 2014 to December 2017, and as Line Maintenance Manager and Workshop Manager at CityJet between June 2006 and October 2014. Additionally, Caffrey worked as a Line Maintenance Controller and Certifying Line Engineer at Ryanair from 1999 to 2006. Early career experience includes contracting work with companies such as Cargolux and Lufthansa Technik, as well as heavy maintenance on various aircraft models at Shannon Aerospace, where Caffrey worked from 1992 to 1997. Caffrey holds a Bachelor of Business (Hons) in Aviation Management from the Institute of Technology, Carlow, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from IBAT College Dublin.
