Jostein Hauken has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. In 2009, they worked as a part-time motorcycle mechanic at Team Mc, where they focused on service and workshop flow planning. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a consultant at NECON AS, specializing in project management and quality control. During the same period, they also served as the Quality Control Lead at OneSubsea. In 2013, they volunteered with the 40K Globe Program in Bengaluru, India, teaching children and contributing to the development of local jewelry. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a consultant at Karabin AS, a Norwegian consulting company focusing on process improvement and operational excellence. In 2017, they co-founded Yobbar A, and later that year, they co-founded Forum Bygg, a construction company. At Forum Bygg, they focused on developing business strategies and lean work processes. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Business Developer at Bybanen AS. In 2019, they joined Asistobe as the Head of consulting. Throughout their career, Jostein has demonstrated a diverse skill set and a focus on continuous improvement.

Jostein Hauken has a diverse education history. Jostein began their academic journey at Fusa Videregåande Skule where they obtained a Higher Education Entrance Qualification and a certificate of apprenticeship in Industrial Mechanics in 2007. Following this, they pursued further education and enrolled at UiT- The Arctic University of Norway in 2008, where they studied Philosophy for a brief period.

In the same year, Jostein Hauken also attended the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, where they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering spanning from 2008 to 2011. During this time, they gained expertise in the field of Industrial Engineering.

Later, they continued their studies at the University of Technology Sydney. From 2011 to 2012, they completed a Master's degree in Engineering Management, focusing on Engineering and Industrial Management. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) specializing in Technology Management from 2012 to 2013 at the same institution.

Furthermore, Jostein Hauken has obtained additional certifications to enhance their professional skills. In 2015, they earned the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from the IASSC. In 2017, they completed the PRINCE2® Foundation Certification Training provided by AXELOS Global Best Practice.
