Chris Mitchell is an experienced engineering professional specializing in ASIC physical design and methodology. Currently serving as an Advisory Physical Design Engineer at ASIC North since November 2021, Chris has a robust background that includes roles as a Senior ASIC Methodology Engineer at Marvell Technology and GLOBALFOUNDRIES, where contributions focused on developing design automation and verification flows for advanced semiconductor technologies. Prior to that, Chris worked at Cyient and IBM, leading technical development in Physical Design methodologies, providing customer support, and managing design processes for various ASIC technologies ranging from 130nm to 14nm. Chris has also served as a Computer Systems Specialist Instructor at YTI Career Institute, teaching various IT-related courses. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University.
